What is the advantage of billed hour rating at C.I.A. versus the typical payroll rating basis?

Typically guard firms are penalized with additional insurance premium when guards receive holiday pay or overtime pay in a payroll rating structure because your payroll obviously increases. At CIA, our premium basis is billed hours so an hour of work is an hour of exposure regardless of your guards being paid for holidays or overtime.

All of our programs offer deductibles that are outside of the policy limits which means that defense costs don’t eat away at your policy limits. As our society becomes more and more litigious it is important that your policy limits be reserved for indemnity payments in the unfortunate event of a claim.
